I'd like to eliminate the vacuum assist canister on my 1976 2WD 1/2 ton. It appears I'll need a master cylinder mounting bracket unless they just bolt to the firewall somehow. Has anyone ever done this conversion? For all the more it'll be driven I can live with manual brakes. Cut my driving teeth with a 1970 all manual 4WD 3/4 ton ford.... then I got smart and bought the Chevy. I'd also like to replace the front cab supports but cannot find them anywhere. These are riveted to the chassis on either side with four rivets.
