Electrical issues

Ok plain and simple, all my exterior drivers Side lights are dim when I turn my lights on. While they're on, on the inside the driver side turn signal indicator is lit up, not blinking just turned on. My rear lights aren't plugged in either so maybe that could be the issue? I dunno where to look or what to look for.

do you mean both rear or just the drivers side rear?

I don't have a bed on so the whole rear is unplugged at that factory plug.

So it's just the front driver's side lights then technically is what you are saying? After the front body connector there is a splice that splits the brown wires to run to all the front park lights but I think you have a grounding issue or bad bulb or socket. Usually if the signal indicator in the dash is lit up it's back feeding current. I think you have a bad signal bulb. Check the turn signals operation as well and report back.

Drivers turn signal won't flash when I click it on.

Does it flash on the pass side?

Yeah it works on the pass side

Change the driver's side turn signal bulb.

Mine does this exact same thing and I found the ground wire is ripped out of the back of the turn signal socket. So I have to replace that now.

Its usually just a bulb though, like 89s said.

I replaced the bulb and now

With lights off- turn signals in both sides flash bright as well as the indicators

With parking lights on- pass side indicator comes on and is dim, pass side signal will not turn on but now the drivers side will

With headlights on- drivers headlight is dim, pass is bright, pass parking lights are on, drivers parking lights are out, both indicators are on and bright. But neither turn signal will flash

I have a feeling it's just since the bed lights aren't plugged in.

And I checked my sockets and there's no loose wires

I replaced the bulb and now

Holy ****. Sounds like a grounding issue somewhere. Let me dig up some tests...

Did you take the ground straps off the core support and clean them up? A lot of times they'll get a little crusty and not get a good ground. I had a dim DS headlight because of that.
