@RecklessWOT sees the light!

For all those reasons is why the scaffold mirrors came off my truck.
Plus what I put on is much easier to use in daily manners.

Do you still have the camper mirrors and be willing to sell them?

lol scaffold....If the mirrors were horizontal but on that bracket it would be more functional and all you would need is an additional flip up or some other clamp on mirror above it which likely wouldnt be needed often. Its in my opinion got a place, but as you say it wasnt yours

These are ford camper special mirrors, they are cool but they definitely arent wide enough for my liking BUT to deal with that I think I would install another mirror below on the vertical bar or something. A wide angle rear view would do most of the immediately to the side stuff and the main could be immedaite sides and out to see the truck while backing up, while aux would be best pointed at blind spot with overlap to what the main see

I do still have them.
I would sell them, once I figure out where they are.
We have been doing some remodeling around the house and things are not always where I have left them....

To be 100% honest im looking for the stems. I want the tall ones that go into the mirrors. Usually the big camper ones have the tall stems

past-me is really bad about leaving things where they 1) were according to memory 2) would be much more appreciated if they were there 3) are not there

I took off the actual mirrors on my "Dumbo" set, and substituted 10 inch spot mirrors. I can see everything happening beside me...all the way up to the door handles, and I rely on the main mirror inside the cab if I need an accurate estimate of the distance something is from me.

Pretty sure I'm going to get the business from just about everyone for saying it but I prefer the Dumbo's to my factory sport mirrors for daily use. The sports look great and don't detract from the lines of the truck, but as someone who "drives in their mirrors" they are not useful day to day. For a fleeting second I contemplated putting on the Dumbo style since it would cover the sport holes but then I'd just have new holes in the truck which nobody wants. It would be better to have a second set of color correct doors with them and swap them out but that's just crazy talk, lol.

I really like the idea of swapping doors when you need the truck for towing :D:D:D You would need to fabricate quick swap hinges.

I feel like there are a few here who would read that and simply utter "Challenge accepted". I however, am not one of them. I see you're in Austria? I'm in an American knock off of a Bavarian town, lol.
