You can run a cheap electric fuel pump from your secondary tank into your primary tank’s filler neck vent with a ‘t’. Not the sending unit vent.Me personally, I have been trying to figure out a way to link the two tanks. Not to hijack the thread, but I really want to keep the two 16 gallon tanks, be able to fill up on either side with 32 gallons from dry, and only need to run the one fuel pump.
I haven't figured that one out though.
3/4” brass barbed pex fittings fit well for the filler vent tube iirc.
This method does require you to have a switch in your cab to activate the secondary inline pump. You can use the stock selector switch and/or location though.
You’d still have to fill the tanks individually. There isn’t enough capacity on a 3/8 supply line to keep up with a gas station pump.
The alternative is a blazer/burb single tank under the bed.
