The crush sleve takes about 250 to 300 ft. lbs. of torque to crush. After it is crushed, there should be a certain amount of torque (20 in/lbs for new bearings and a little less for used bearings) it takes to turn the yoke with just the pinion shaft installed.
THe rear ends all back together, and its not over tightened tight, cause we drove it for a couple of miles and the nose of the case wasnt getting hot.
