I've heard soda blasting the panels with emphasis on removing the oxidized plastic. It supposedly leaves a nice semi textured mat finish.

I've heard soda blasting the panels with emphasis on removing the oxidized plastic. It supposedly leaves a nice semi textured mat finish.
I'll let you know next spring. That's my plan.

I wish I had taken better before pictures. I'm trying to keep with the Big Yellow theme. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with the ugly, cracked door panel pads. I was thinking about making some wood ones and painting them yellow. Any suggestions?

Classic Industries probably has what you need. I got a little confused on their website, according to them your truck doesn't have 1976 arm rests, they look like 1977 arm rests.

The black rests are part #W778001. In Stock Now, $23.99 Please don't take my word on this, check them out or call them to be sure.
