I know its not the best photo, but i have hundreds of pounds to move thats out of arms length to reach it. I know a lot of trucks used those cylinder mufflers often, but I have a 1996 F150 with a clamped on exhaust but the muffler is much further up stream than this one, and I dont have an exhaust(well a glasspack) on my square. My other square is 4x4 but half ton, allso had a 400 in it. So not sure if any of those changed exhaust options.

I could be off base, but always associated round mufflers with Fords and oval with GM trucks.

Seems like our 75 F250 had a round one.

FWIW.

Yes, the 2nd picture that looks like the core support facia for the blinkers. 79-80.

Looked online and could not find one but the best image would be this one. The green piece.

There are two valence designs, 73-78 and 79-80. in 79 with the bezels extending down to the park lights the trim extends further down too, so on a 79-80 valence there are three holes where the vent holes are and on a 73-78 there are no holes down there as it is exposed.
left two 79-80 right 2 73-78

To actually answer the question, they will interchange with no problem, however there will be some extra or some missing holes when it comes time to mount the lower grille trim onto it depending if its 73-78 on a 79-80 or a 79-80 on a 73-78
