So like everything else with my truck it’s a labor of love. So I figured I’d try to fix the dash. Forgot to take a top before pic but you’ll get the idea. Spray foam, Bondo Glass, a lot of sanding….

Rustoleum Hammered for texture and SEM interior. Not perfect but not bad for almost 50yr old dash.

Looks good. I tried to DIY mine and just couldn't get it done right so I broke down and bought a new pad.

The Seinfeld episode where the Asian man gave George's restaurant table away. George went and told him we've been waiting forever, did you skip us? The Asian man said no I called your name I called Cartwright,Cartwright, you didn't answer,so I gave your table away. It's Costanza!! Yes,I called out Cartwright twice. The real Art Vandaley would have known this.

Looks a heckuva lot better than it did! What would you say total materials cost, and time spent was?

Total time is tough as it was a little here and there after work, weekends. The sanding I did all by hand so could have been a lot quicker with sander. I let each coat of paint dry for 48hrs so there’s a week. Cost was I think $20 total as already had Bondo lying around and my brother had extra can of SEM. Only bought the hammered rustoleum and foam. I actually enjoyed it.

I also tried to repair mine but bought a velour cover as I wasn't happy with the end results.
