Thanks for the info. I hope he won't mind working on common Chevrolet Truck radios. You know how some people are who have specialty vehicles feel about us "Truck Folks". :happy107:

I’m guessing Chevy truck fanatics money spends just the same as Olds guys money!


Pretty sure Delco radios of that vintage are pretty much the same.

I repair Delco radios/8 tracks/cassette players including the square body radio. I can add one button bluetooth and set up any radio for use with an external amp. I have a good supply of working radios as well in my stock that are for sale. Repairs take 7 to 10 days to complete. I am a retired Motorola engineer and I know these radios very well. Call or text me a 480-235-1964 to setup a repair. Thanks, Jim

Good to know. I’m saving this thread so I can find it when I need my radio repaired.
