Ok, my original pad is toast, I got a mint one from the donor truck. It's blue and I need red, what is everyone doing as far as paint or should I have it covered?

I used interior paint, like 3 coats of it. Been like that for a few years now..

SEM vinyl/plastic coating is what I have always used. A little bit of prep work and spray it on.

I've used duplicolor vinyl dye it works good as well. I usually just use regualr auto paint, grease wax remover, wipe on wipe off with clean dry rag, and spray a few light coats.

Use SEM interior paint. It will outlast any other product. It is the same product upholstery shops use.
