'09 C-6500 crew cab box truck, 7.8 Isuzu diesel, Allison automatic. Weight is "somewhere in the neighborhood of GVW" and we'll leave it at that.

And that was even with foot braking it to get it into boost off the line, lol.
OMG LMAO

50s to 60 hahahahahhahaa

I’m not going 120mph on any roads around here. I’ll be wearing a deer as a hood ornament in no time. I’ll download one to do the 0-60. I’ve used my go pro to time it. It’s dead nuts consistent ~3.5s to 60 unless I’m below 60% battery, then it goes down to about 4.5s, I can’t recall. I think the power gets reduced from ~475hp to ~400hp below 60% battery to conserve range. Not sure the difference in tq numbers…

The reviews are pretty spotty for the apps on iOS.

I'm really looking forward to get home and running everything I have that moves under it's own power. Even the tractor, lol. It may come in handy for trying different tune ups and stuff too.

What did Vince run? @Vbb199
Oh...you took it down.
I saw it though MR."Overheated"..17.5 or somethin! :p you could put icecubes on the intake and it aint gonna help.
Lmao.
17.5, on 89 octane tune
Overheating, yes.
Running in the 260° range will most certainly have an impact on a computer controlled engine

I want to notably say I've had this on and off issue with no repeatable pattern where either the car stops advancing timing OR it doesn't completely advance timing mid drive or under hard acceleration.

Looked under the hood the other day and found it !

The main coil base has its wires put together with butt connectors.

Betcha that's where alot of trouble lies.

I will say that lumina pulls hard on a roll, from a stop.... it's gutless.

I pissed some kid off recently because everytime i stood on it from 2nd gear , his infinity g35 couldn't keep up with the mawmaw car! Hahahahha

My 1952 Willys CJ-3A Jeep, 134ci willys go devil 4cyl.
Dirt 1/4 mile at 32.9 seconds at 34mph.
My driveway is about a 1/4 mile, so that's as fast as I could go from the top of the drive to the bottom. Thank God the gate was open, cause I would've gone threw it with the untouched 70 year old 4 wheel drums.

I've had it up to almost 55, but it takes a few miles and going downhill with a wind behind you.

OK, tried again in the lumina without it overheating and chit

Test 1: letting it automatically shift, but I did start the run in a turn (couldn't stop dead in the road), and it was a curvy road

Test 2 was manually shifting it, at a slight uphill grade, I power braked it to get it up in the R's, and it spun the tires at first.

That'll be the last time I try out the lumina until we put the 93 tune on, replace all the coils with new coils, not 185k mile coils, and get rid of the butt connectors

Yes

There's some issues with my v6 that could be addressed, like when I did plugs for the first time, cylinders 5 and 6 were rich and stinky

Cylinders 1 and 2 were severely eroded down

Cylinders 3 and 4 were the most normal.

I'm sure the coil that feeds cyl 1 and 2 is at the end of its life given the stock .035 gap had been eroded to .065 wide, thus increasing resistance, thus killing the coil.

Nor to mention, there wasn't a single cylinder that had a .035 gap lol

The intake leaks water.

The aforementioned butt connectors....

If I didn't treat it like a DD, and replaced and addressed the problems it has , it'd probably be alot faster.

But it's a beater DD I got for 100$ and threw a couple Ben's at for maintenance items.

Side note~ I kinda wanna try the ol won ton s10 blazer.
