Dad's old C20 Crew

Hello out there in cyberspace. I am relatively new to the site and want to know who has some good information. I have my dad's C20 Crew and I'm about to do a 4x4 swap on it. I've got an 85 CUCV that is going to be my donor for the differentials and shackles as well as the front crossmember. I'm swapping the SM465 for another with an NP208 on it.
The main question that I have is that finding factory crew cabs like this in central NC is difficult so I don't have one for reference. I don't know if I'm going to run a 2 piece driveshaft with this SM465/NP208 setup or if a one piece will do. My '16 Duramax CCLB has an incredibly long one piece shaft and this truck is about 6 inches longer WB than dad's old C20. I'm still not certain about making a long 1 piece shaft for this long Square Crew.
My NP208 is also a slip yoke and this will cause difficulty with running a 2 piece driveshaft. I have a fixed yoke NP205 that I can run if need be but I like the lower range of the NP208. Even with 155HP the CUCV's wheel pretty good with a '36 with the differential and case gearing.

Welcome. ORD is making the swap brackets for the 2WD to 4WD conversion. It may save you some time. They make crossmembers too. FYI your rear spring hangers will be shorter than the 4WD drive versions (FYI C20 3+3s are 1-ton versions, not 3/4 ton). Photo 1 is my '85 K30.

Photo 2 is my old '80 C20 3+3 I had in the mid 90's. I wanted to make that a 4x4 back then, but didn't have the knowledge or time to do it.

Thanks for the "welcomes" folks. I have seen in the past where you take the 2wd shackle and replace with a 4wd and then take the 2wd and put behind the spring for a shackle flip.
I have also seen the frame box kits and front spring hangers that aftermarket companies supply. I've not torn into the truck as of yet but I figured that I had most of the parts and had to pull the engine for a replacement anyways.
Until then, I appreciate the information and links that y'all have supplied. We must stay in touch...I hope that wasn't too "Square" of a statement. Thanks.
