This is the very center of the seat, the French stitch doesn’t show up very well in the other pictures ther is a double French stitch on both sides of the center. It gives the illusion of bucket seats in a bench.

The leather hides and ostrich was the customers choice.

No more seat work today. I was lazy and only cut out/fabbed the blanks for door panels.

I’ll post more pictures tomorrow.

This time I’ll take pictures of building the patterns out of the leather hides.

Here are a pair of door panels I made today to go with the seat.

This is the back of the bench seat I’ll be starting tomorrow.

Another set of door panels for another project. These are for a 67-72 truck I’ll also be building another seat for and headliner.

Here are the upper and lowers for the 67-72 Chevy truck.

This guy wanted simple and inexpensive. So this is the design he wanted.

To save on cost We reused his panel bases.

Back on the other seat.
here are a few more inside and out pics.

There will also be double French stitching on the two outer sides when the seat cover is complete.

The lean back cover is made and on. However I think it needs to come back off and have some foam work done.

Kinda has that flat tire look. The foam is beat down.

Another part that stinks is the leather hides the customer provided are old.

So that means absolutely no steam work at all or the leather will shrink up and become hard and crunchy crusty like a potato chip.
