Crate Engine help!!!!

This is my daily driver...
I'm not looking to loose mpg
It's already bad enough

What kind of headers?
Are direct bolt on's? ( don't want to change exhaust system... Already has high flow cat and 3"

Manifold?? Suggestions?

Throttle body.... CFM tech sells a nice ported throttle body

I'm in the same boat here it seems. Looking to put in a new motor in my 73. Thinking base motor for now since it's my daily and I'm not looking for anything crazy. I don't know anything about cams or what might be good for one thing but not another. I just want a good solid motor.
