Convenience center mounting

I have an ‘85 c10 standard shift that I’m restoring. A body guy completely gutted the cab and I’m reassembling it. I can’t for the life of me figure out where to mount the “convenience center”. It has the hazard flasher, a relay and something else. It has a bracket and two mounting holes. I’ve found posts that say on the firewall above the gas pedal. Anyone have a picture?

No, it’s not the main fuse block. You can see part of the bracket and the relays and hazard flasher in the picture. I read they call it a convenience center. It’s tied into the wiring harness

our C10 had same thing but nothing attached to it, part of the brace for gas pedal. We cut it off to give us more room to work with the wiring and vintage air ducting

I’m not anywhere near my 81 GMC, or I would take a picture. It does go above the gas pedal. I would think you could find a pic online somewhere. I seem to remember needing a screw with a stud to mount it, maybe I’m wrong. I have slept a lot since I put all that together.

My truck is at my dads house, I drive right by his house on my way to work. If you need a pic, I’ll take one.

I don’t have the convenience center but do have the bracket, I used it to mount all of my aftermarket electronics modules. Here’s the bed picture I could find

These are the best pics I could take with the limited time I had.

The cruise control module clipped to the bracket above the gas pedal, the convenience center bolts above and to the right of the pedal. Unfortunately, with the brake controller in the way I couldn’t get a decent pic of how it mounted.

hi, i recently have reworked my interior and it is correct that it is called the "convenience center" and it is mounted on a bracket that is located above & right of the factory gas pedal the above pics (matt69olds). I am not sure how it was "removed"? as mentioned, it is tied directly to the factory interior harness/fuse block. In my rebuild I looked at trying to remove it, but due to it's harness intagration I decided to just leave well enough alone. it is described in the wiring diagrams for the year model of truck - in my case a 1986 C10 2wd 1/2 ton.
