I've seen several rear ends broke while drag racing, to be expected. But the only 2 I've seen break otherwise, the guys were doing a burn out backwards. That's just something you don't do either. You don't nail it backing out of a parking space. There happens to be a drive side of the gear, and a Coast side of the gear. The drive side of the tooth is thicker and stronger to propel your ride forward. Coast side is when you let off the throttle then gear is actually on the Coast side of the tooth helping slow you down or holding you back. Well, it you're doing a burnout in reverse, then you're putting all that abuse on the Coast side of the ring gear teeth and that part of the teeth are much weaker than the drive side of the teeth. So don't be doing no backward burnouts. Rear ends don't like it.

I drive like grandpa now. don't even do much wheeling anymore. Really tired of always fixing something. Got enough to keep me busy with out going out and breaking things on purpose LOL
