I leave a phone charger in my lighter socket 100% of the time, red light on. I charge my phone for HOURS on end without trouble in my '75.
Matter of fact, it's been plugged in for three days and I haven't touched it.
I was initally interested to read this thread but in the end, I was kind of let down.

Damn my expectations! :rolleyes:

Good morning, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! we got her working! special thanks to Nick for his info. Put a female bullet connector on the lighter stud and made sure everything was together as should be on the assembly and it works great!
