Chop the top? Or don’t, that is the question...

The bags and c-notch, that I can live with because you can still retain some of the use-ability with that C30. That's a big ole Dana70 that you'll be hiding when dumping the tanks. It will also be a great looking "fat-bottomed girl" with the dually fenders attached out back.
Are you going to use this truck as a tow rig? I would definitely not chop the top on anything that I would be spending time riding in or wanting to use.
I use my dad's old 79 Crew each time a get a chance. I also built his old '55 6100 Series so that I could use it as well. I cruise the 55 and hit car shows with it as well.

There's a 4 door dually around me that has been lowered. Based on the grill has to be a 89-91. I'll take a pic tomorrow. I see it in the mornings.

maybe haul a bumper tow vacation trailer but that’d likely be decided at a later date. It is a Dana70hd hood eye! So if I’m only using it for my own ***** and giggles your saying chop it, I can put whatever I want in it for seats the dual tanks are being switched out for one in the box smoothed in. Thanks for the input sir.

That's like the ugliest thing I've ever seen. And that dude should be shot for the square lights.

The Camaro looks pretty good. This car has much more mass appeal. Only thing I personally don't like is the hood. 60's Cougar?

If I recall this was in the early 2000's and we'd lost touch during that time. Those ugly rims were the rage at the time. I'm sure they lost a ton of money on it. They've since built a pro-touring Camaro.

That is fricken horrible looking (my opinion). Never would I do that with a truck like that. Now a late 20's Ford truck that is chopped like that and channeled over the frame looks pretty killer.

That yellow truck is about as appealing as Tim Tool Man Taylor's smashed top 55.....

This. I'm 6'4" and my head is almost hitting in nearly any vehicle I've ever been in. But I can actually wear a hat in the truck, so amazing. Wife can't get cars with sunroofs cause they take up valuable inches up there.

As far as looks of chopped things, I think anything made past 1955 shouldn't be chopped.

There is a mid 2000's volkswagen beetle around here that is chopped, it is unfinished and gutted. It is rotting in some semi-defunct business that seems to collect junk cars and never move them again. I'll try to get a picture.

Chopped top New Beetle? You mean an Audi TT?

Lol

That actually fooled me, i studied it for a bit, it was definitely a dana 60 or 70, but i understood (without looking at the numbers cast into rhe pumpkin webbing), that a dana 70's cover was smaller than the surface it bolted to. So i assumed it to be a 60..... BUT..... a bowtie never used a 60....
Only a 70B, 70U or 70hd.
