To our knowledge there isn't, but I also can't 100% verify that cuz we haven't torn down a manual 2wd later truck
From looking closer to the picture of the 87 4wd /auto there looks to be an indentation where a 4spd shifter would sit so I would agree that they are the same. Parted out a 85 2wd/4spd a few months ago but deleted all the pictures after I sold the cab.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of mine of just the bare floor.

Bingo, looked thru some old posts on Facebook and found some pictures of the 85 4 spd truck I had.

Maybe some folks with very late production 2wd trucks (like '90-'91 crew cabs and Suburbans) can verify, but I seem to recall noticing a few trucks that were 2wd auto and had the tall 4x4 style hump. It may have just been '91, with 4L80e, I don't recall.

am I confused my 79 1/2 ton has a high hump I am swaping out the sm465 for a m20 car trans
it looks like my hump is a high hump.
I think that would put lots of my stick (Hurst) ununder the floor pan level.
I am thinking I need a low hump like on the three speed trucks.
I cant seem to find one.
Anyone know if the high hump will work with the taller competion plus shifter.
Or where I can find a bolt on low hump for my truck

Igor, would you give me a hand with the bags?
Igor: "Certainly, you take the blonde and I'll take the one in the turban."
