the passenger sides has a pcv valve, which I have connected to the carb.

The drivers side has a hole smaller than a pvc grommet. Is there a spec breather that fits it?

Mine has provisions on the driver's side also. But it is the same size as the passenger side. I vent through passenger side and plugged driver's side. These are 1965 valve covers.

On a TBI that goes to the spacer between the filter housing, and the TBI. Just to relieve pressure I suppose. I still have it on mine. If my wife can lift my hood I will get you a picture this afternoon.

Good looking bay by the way.

Its supposed to have a short piece of metal tube that gets connected to the stock air cleaner so it can draw filtered air into the crankcase. Not sure if there is a push o breather with that small of a diameter on it. Not my truck just a picture I found on google.

Straight to the spacer with a piece of rubber hose. Just like my pic, but it has an L shaped fitting stuck to it. I have a bunch of these, dont know why. They are not a necessity.

Ummm. I was trying to see if I could find some type of breather, but like mentioned, it’s a smaller hole. I thought about a second pcv valve, but that also is too big.

Maybe I need to hit the yard and see if I can find that tube and modify it for a breather.

Thanks for the help.

Sorry. Pills have me working in a different world right now. I think you can fit a regular grommet in that hole, and a off the shelf breather of your choice.

You can use a PCV grommet on that side too, and get a breather with the smaller, PCV-sized nipple. That type of breather is a bit harder to find, but Jegs or Summit will have something.

If you find a breather for it post it, here. I'll be needing one too...

I had bought one at AutoZone back in the day, for my '89 Iroc that the PO had thrown out the factory breather setup. It was probably Spectre brand.

I used a grommet from a 96-up Vortec engine in that hole along with an aftermarket breather with gauze filter. Eventually found a plastic elbow and hose to connect the valve cover hole to my air cleaner.

I was looking at Summit's website, you can look up valve cover breathers by nipple size. It makes things easy.
