I'm looking for car big block headers, I think.
shorty type into a single like this:
I assume that'd be car headers
I'm wanting to flip one of them upside down "for research purposes"

I don't necessarily want to spend all that for brand new headers when I'm just going to cut the end off and weld a flange on

Flipping them upside down for research purposes may complicate exactly what may or may not fit.

I'm highly interested in your research findings because I wanted to research the same thing, lol.

Fwiw, I run a set of Sanderson “BB8” on my 454 in my Blazer, great quality and they fit perfectly. I have no input on flipping them over.

Yea, that's the next issue, clearing accessories and such up front Flipping one upside-down

I'm making plans.... and I'm looking for an easy solution instead of a full exhaust fab

I can weld ok and all, but I really would rather just pay someone who does it for a living

Gmt400 bbc short headers. But still in use until enough money aquired to get other type that connects directly to under hood muffler.

Many years ago I bought Jardine headers designed for a BB in a 1957 Chevy.
I usd them on my 64 Fairlane GT that was powered by a 427 Chevy.
Worked great!

Is your research going to connect them to a spinny thing?
Perhaps,

It does involve a t4 flange on the end of the upside down exhaust collector.

The idea was to aim for about another 200hp, but the meat and potatoes of the muscle is the rotating mass of the motor itself.

Some guys like little motors with big spinny wheels, I like big motors with conservative spinny wheels that just just simply aid.

It's like a diesel, but consumes less oil and isn't a turd without a turbo

Edit: and drinks twice the gas a diesel does lol

Those would he perfect for the project, I could mock some things up to get the spinny wheel at least set upright on a flange if those work like I think they will

I understand they aren't for sale yet, but I'm not necessarily ready to make moves yet to change my setup and have it parked another 4 months, it's about to leave the work area with a freshly built rear end and fat tires.

But I'd like to start collecting parts for the next "step up". So perhaps when you decide to make a move on your next exhaust setup, contact me about those ?

I am in need of tighter fitting set up once things get added, so the plan was logs with a cross over in stock location. Then aim at the passenger front with a down pipe from there following stock exhaust routing. Except gmt400 platform. Not sure when these will go away, but assuming they do not fit on elco, will be available at that time.

Curious do they appear they can be flipped?

I found these headers on Amazon. I'm not sure if id actually commit to these actual ones, but these can be flipped.

I just want to make sure the obvious spinny snail im gonna bolt up will hide under the hood of my truck.

I aim to give alot of people alot false hope when they see my 79 and it looks like an almost stock truck with rolled on Burgundy paint

"Ah man, that things a beat up piece with an old tired sbc"

lol

Imagine a hellcat owners eyes seeing a Shiney chrome bumper at their door
