Been watching this too. Idk how many more years the 25 year old headers and exhaust pipes have left in them. Especially the headers. Had to patch a couple blowouts in them when I replaced the (same age) mufflers last year and suspect there’s another hole forming. It’s got an exhaust tick that I havnet found yet but it sounds suspiciously like another small hidden blowout in a header tube.

Ahhhhh yup.
What @Ricko1966 said.

Those are not what you want.
Especially for a test set of headers.
Find something used to try similar to what I have done.

I know for a fact that Corvette headers DO NOT FIT.
A while ago I found a set of those very expensive Hooker Super Comps.
They turned out to be for a 70's Vette, drivers side does not fit at all.
I only paid $200 for a brand new set that were never bolted up to an engine.
Sold them recently for $550, so it worked out just fine.

2” primaries are in no way to large for a 572, that is actually the smallest primary recommended, you can get away with smaller but very restrictive, mine was dyno tuned sporting 2.25” primaries and I’m cammed on the aggressive side of correct for a 4,500 pound vehicle… My BB8’s are 1-7/8” and will breathe just fine and know they fit, my OCD tells me I want 2” primary long tubes… I can not understand why Hooker doesn’t offer an inexpensive painted set and a nice ceramic set, I see a ton of BB 4x4’s out there you can’t tell me they wouldn’t fly off the shelf !
