Can the charcoal canister go bad/leak?

just thinkin about my rig and wondering if that canister can cause a vac leak or anything?

Some of the old Dodges I used to drive you could replace the filter in it. Never played with a GM one, YET. :D

Kaplin, not to change the subject. But if you dont need the vacume ports on the water inlet. Change it over to a standard inlet so you wont have to put caps on all of them.

BTW, do you want me to draw up a vacume line diagram from my truck? It's bypassed all that stuff.

It could if it was cracked. Its closed right now without any vac lines going to it. Your induction system is calibrated to work with all that stuff hooked up. Have you talked to the butcher that disconnected all that stuff?
