Can anyone identify this axle type?

Was told it’s a 1982 ff.

not sure if it’s a dually rear wheel or single rear wheel and or if it came off a 4x4 or a rear wheel drive.

any help would be much appreciated

Looks like a single rear wheel 14 bolt. Need to measure the center pin width and WMS width to be more specific.

I bought it

It measured about 40 inches in between spring perch to spring perch.

everything I measured from the 1986 suburban 4x4 was almost exact as to the to this 14 FF “full floater”.

hopefully this will hold up and not blow up after one 3 hours of drifting.

it sure looks a whole lot more bullet proof.

I’m also wondering is the axle tubes are going to be the same diameter as the current 14bolt SF.

Single wheel, 3/4 ton, '83 and older.

Iirc, the axle tubes are the same diameter on the semi-floater.

14 Bolt Full Floater with captive drums. Meaning you have to pull the hubs to get the drums off.
