Hey guys I'm getting ready to buy my cab and radiator bushings for when I do my cab swap. I'm leaning towards poly. Any opinions either way are appreciated!

No opinions? I find that hard to believe! Somebody has to have some input.

Stick with rubber. Poly is harsh and can be noisy (squeaky).

You are gonna get 2 arguments. Some are gonna say rubber, some are gonna say poly.

Poly has less shock absorption, but that's what i buy. Wont sag out.

So in short rubber will be a more comfy ride and not last as long . Poly will last longer but be a little rough on my bottom side?

My rubber cab mounts are 29 years old on my 84' and are still in great shape. That may not be the case for all cab mounts from the era, but the argument of longevity for poly over rubber doesn't sway me much when I see nearly 30 year old mounts still in good shape.

I'm concerned cuz of the Illinois climate. Thought it best to replace them.

Oh, yeah, if they need replacing, definitely replace them. Just saying I don't see getting that much more longevity (or needing!) from poly over rubber mounts.
