When it is snowing, foggy, etc., I like to see as many lights as I can.

The black is a california only thing. California wanted only red showing from the back of a vehicle.
Its funny because amber rear signals are safer than red and are highly highly recommended to have amber rear turn signals.

But california also doesnt let you modify your vehicle even if said modifications produce LESS emissions than original(say, EFI on a carb truck).
Its stuff like that that tells me its more about the idea of helping the planet and politicians stroking ego than actually helping the planet. And that they arent really serious about helping the planet.

Its also why im going to re-repair my bunny ear lights on the bed rack to act as amber front and rear turn signals in addition to the primary front and red rears. Safety. And i like the look of it.
