Searched kansas fort riley 2 for 14,500 only one was pictured 1 in Tulsa I think it was 6000.00

Yep, I've seen 5 year old Rams with rotten bedsides and rockers.

They coat the roads ahead of time with some kind of nasty brine spray. I believe it does far more damage than the rock salt, but I've got no facts to back that up.

What's really annoying is that some municipalities often don't even drop the plow down until there's over an inch or two of snow on the ground. They just put down more salt. Not with a dedicated salt spreader truck mind you, just the normal plow trucks, but the plow is only along for the ride.

@bucket Honestly laughing at your last post,I feel your pain. I live on a county road,I don't get a plow or salt brine. The good is if I can make it the 3 miles to the highway I can go anywhere. The first three miles is the test.

Magnesium chloride, whatever that is. Supposedly more ecologically friendly, Oregon go figure. Pits the heck out of paint . They use it here but it usually just leaves the roads wet at night and then black ice develops. Fun. Studded snow tires work best here.

Yeah that doesn't happen here. My 78 has rust in the rockers but that's from a roof leak.

Otherwise pretty rust free 78. Not bad for a lifetime of tree service.

A good rule of thumb is to avoid trucks from the northeast and the coast, unless they're incredibly cheap. This rule applies to new and old.
