I'm almost positive they were not Alcoas either. This is the first time I've seen the factory aluminum wheels referred to as Alcoas.

IIRC, the hurricane wheels were available as a dealer accessory. Somewhere around here I've got a factory booklet that shows them, among other things. It was a '76 brochure I believe. My '77 K5 seems to have original dealer-installed hurricanes on it. They are the right type (13 spokes, IIRC) and manufacturer, and are also date coded as 1977.

They may have been sourced by Alcoa.

I cant stand the wheels/tires or the squat, but that's some good lookin paint on that Urban.

The plastic nose doesn't age well on any of the gm products. The droopy dog look makes it worse.
For the same odd reason that I love Superbirds, I like these cars and the Monte aerocoupes.
I have seen them for sale anywhere from $2k beater/parts cars to $25k showroom new.
There was one on ebay recently that was cut up with a sawzall.
