They bolted right up

Likely was ordered with buckets and then switched to bench. Here is a mock up of the brackets in originally bench equipped suburban

I believe all Suburbans from 1985 on got provisions for buckets regardless of seat. You could get just a front bench or front buckets with no back seats.

Probably need to get this discussion to a different thread. Picture above is from 91 bench equipped suburban. Maybe some years might have got both.

Sorry, I meant for my k10. I would like a set of buckets and a console instead of the bench that's in it. Mainly just for the console.

Best way is to take a look under the seat and see if brackets are there or not. But unlikely that they will be there unless someone swapped over before.

I actually wouldn't mind taking out the buckets and console in mine and putting a bench in it's place. Would be hard to find one that I didn't have to recover, though.

Good ones are tough to find. I like my bench, but the storage in the console would be nice.

What's a fella have to do to swap a bench for a pair of buckets?

Nothing
Direct bolt up

Yeah not quite a direct bolt in, if you don't have the center, front floor brackets. It's not hard, you just need to find a truck, or Suburban that had buckets. There is a small floor bracket you'll have to cut out, because they were all welded to the floors. I used a set of Suburban seats.

Any interested in bucket seats (blue) and a center console??

How much? I'm working in the Elkton area (Harrisonburg) for the next several days.

Cool, didn't know that. I must have never looked under the bench of my '90.
