Without checking, I think the 2wd output can also be used in a 4x4, just by trimming the output a little bit.

yes the 2 wheel drive output can be put in a 4x4

I used the full spline 2 wheel drive slip yoke style output in my 4l80 trimmed a little off to adapt a 205 to it

Some people should not be allowed to touch tools. And that inlcludes a butter knife since it can get used a screwdriver.
