I have been watching that K5. He actually started at like 18k several months ago. It's super cool that it's a one owner, but he just fishing. Idk what the deal is with that Elco. Nothing "rare" about an 87. The 72 that was posted this morning is a better buy.

That would be my guess. Elcos have gotten out of hand lately. 6 or 7 years ago they were a dime a dozen, now people think there is some kind of shortage and they are worth their weight in gold.

maybe some of the older one but definitely not those 80's elcos. Nothing special about them and IMO will probably never be highly sought after.

Them G-body guys seem to be a goofy bunch. They are very proud of them and their prices reflect it. I've never owned one because they are so spendy here, and that Elco looks clean and has all the cool SS stuff, that's probably a decent asking price for the market here.

And similar goes for the K5. Well optioned and looks super clean. Then you add in the engine swap that appears to be very nicely done. I doubt you could build one for the same price.

Here is an interesting '73 Elky. What do you all think?

I... Think... It's.... Ok... Butnot... Really mystyle. I wonder if there is any money to be made writing craigslist adds for people. For real though, slick car. Just a little too much Cuban flare for me.

IMO, it's already the bastard child year of the El Co and Chevelles, 73-77, so it had that against it already, and he fugged it up even worse. Biggo waste of time , money and effort IMO. Many other worthy year model projects to put that much heart into IMHO.

I've never been a fan of those front roll pans. That touneau cover is BS too although I'm sure it was pricey.
