Is not a done deal yet. he may not go for it. and I can't put any cash out either.
So the C30 may just stay home.

Why? Is someone waiting to use your pot? If your comfortable with it, let it sit.

Me, my butt fell asleep a long time ago. I bought my Corvette back in the summer of '05, and haven't really touched the Monte since.

I may trade my C30 for this Burban and his TPI system. hopefully the interior is in okay shape and don't need a lot of work.

The front seats look decent. Jim will help with TPI portion I bet...

Yup... keep it stock and in the corner of the barn. My thoughts are to modify it to the point I could easily put it back to stock if desired. But... at this exact moment in time it is staying stock. I don't really know what I am gonna do with it to be honest.

:Plugged: <-- I need to **** or get off the pot in regards to it.

Luckily the 305 in mine was replaced befor we got it years ago. So im not so hard pressed to keep it factory.

I assume you are referring to me?! Because that's exactly what I was implying. Either work on it and drive it, or sell it.

The biggest thing that is causing me to keep it around is the sentimental value attached to it. It was my 1st car, my dad bought it for me. Of course when he first bought it, he didn't tell me that. We did a good tune up and some body work together at first. Then one day he hands me the title, in my name already, and the keys, and says it's all yours! Granted, I also had to pay for everything associated with it, but it was all to teach about the real world at the time. Anyways, I am getting this thread sidetracked. As of right now, the plan is to pull the motor/tranny early spring, clean them up and replace some seals, clean up the engine bay, and drive it. All the other stuff it needs will get picked away at as time and money allow.

Aww :console:

No title kind of kills this thing for now. May have to revisit this one in the spring when the snow melts.

Well the guy probably didn't like my C30, he never respond back. I will still try to get that TPI for my CC.

I think everyone knows, I don't get rid of my squares unless it's that bad financially. It's pretty much there now, but I did dodge selling the K1500 and scrapping the Burb this past 3 weeks and sold the Box Van instead. As far as sentimental value, DO NOT SELL THAT ONE. You'll have very deep regrets if you do and the few hundred you'd get out of it will be gone in no time. Sentimental or Heirloom cars and trucks can sit for years so long as you keep them covered or something to keep them from rusting as they sit, until you get time to do it. I don't know the ages of your kids or if you even have kids. For a truck like that, which belonged to your dad or granddad, let it sit if you don't have time or cash. It might be when your son or even daughter is 13 or 14, they might want to help you build it.
