I guess some people don't realize that the roof structure is part of a cars strength and even worse, in a Unibody. That car will twist so easy now it's not even funny and sure don't want to be in any kind of significant car accident. A fairly minor accident in that car, can now be a major situation as far as bodily injury since the entire integrity of that vehicle is now compromised in a major way.

Anyone ever seen the frame to say a 60's Impala Hard Top, and then the frame to same year model in a convertible??? The frames are totally different and there is a reason for that.

Probably twist the crap out of that frame just by jumping up/down between the front and back seats.
I would`nt ride in that POS on a bet.

Monte's have a frame under them. The cneter isnt boxed, but its channeled.
