WHY does it have to be SOOO far away!?!?!?! HRPC, you are right, with 4x4 I would have bought it and shipped it clear to NC at that price.

No doubt. But I'd still like to have it. I prefer 3/4 over 1/2 ton anyday, been wanting a better mpg truck and for sure the longbed stepside and it's all original. I'd leave it just like it is and restore it just like the SPID label says. Hopefully it's an AC truck. If not, I'd still do it but probably add a Vintage Air system so it remains pretty much OEM except the added AC.

I know it's not as nice as the stepside, but this one is a lot closer to you for a bit less.

I've seen several stepside long beds in the junkyard here. You could make one of your trucks in to a steppie, HR. Bed is like $150-200.

I'd prefer an OEM truck, but hell yeah, for $150 t0 $200 I'd buy a long stepside bed. Since the blowout and the damage on the 85 K1500 driver side now... although, I know I can fix that real easy too. I have a cut off from another bed that will fix it just fine, but it was actually for the bed on the 84C20. But yeah, **** goes right, and I find out there is longbed stepside down there. I'll take a bed off a truck here, tie on some mud flaps, wire some universal magnetic tow lights I have and be on my way to pick it up.. Bolt it on and bring it home. :waytogo:

This one has alot of feature I like. Like the dark gray interior color, PL & PW AC Truck, appears to be a rubber mat instead of carpet. Doesn't look all that great but I have a feeling it can be alot better cleaned up and get the gawd awful fuggin seat out of it. Wonder HOW NEW the motor is. And he's idiot for spending 2x the money on a trans than the motor. Still looks to be alot of work for $2000. Might look at it, if after the house sales it's still around.

NO doubt it looks like ass, but it should be some fast moving ass. It's obvious the thing has some major identity crisis issues. Part Cavailer, Part Fiat, Part Ford, Trying to be a Ferrari and that's jtst a start of what it's trying to be.

Yea, its mutt but it still seems to resemble a car all said and done. But soooooo much time/money/thought/effort to make something look kinda like an odd ball ferrari!
