You obviously didn't know that is OEM Factory. They came that way at the factory. Also comes in a Station Wagon version. Quite honestly, if I could find a good deal on one, I'd buy it. Hate AMC, but for a real factory OE CAR, I'd have one.

The wagons were real popular with rural mail carriers up north. Those things would go places even squares couldn't.

As a matter of fact, now that you mention that. They sure did. And many were both Right and Left hand drivers. I'm sure they were just retrofitted with steering and pedals on the right for mail delivery.

There is a guy on an expedition forum I'm also on who has a few of those that he uses as his Expedition rigs.. hah. I had never seen one until I saw a couple of his posts.. Cool lookin things. I probably wouldnt ever own one, but I do appreciate a good looking clean one.
