Now $2000 is more of a reasonable asking price for a clean, rust free car like that. I was not aware of that the Z24 came on a wagon, though. I'd always just seen them on the 2 doors..... Interesting....

Until 2002, the Z24 was 2 door only. Then a 4 door was optional. that car was built by someone as a Z24 wagon. I'd rock the living **** out of it though.

I'd like to see someone put the 3800 in one! 3100's are ok but the 3800's are a bit quiker and in that little car would probably move along pretty decent :) Just imagine if it was a supercharged 3800! That little wagon would be quite the sleeper :)

Super fun and good mileage too. I went to look at a 1993 Sunbird convertible recently with a V6/5 speed...Too bad the body and interior were trashed...It was black with white leather and white top, one of the best color combos for a J convertible.

3800s do move, but heavy. There is a lot more aftermarket for a 3800 than a 3100 though.

I had a 89 Buick LeSabre for a bit not too long ago (70k original miles and really clean!) and it had the 3800 in it and surprisingly it had pretty good pep to it for an "old persons" car. My GP has the 3800 in it, too, (not supercharged :() and it's pretty quick for just a stocker.

I'd bet that wagon would gain a full second in the 1/4 with a V6 geared Getrag 282. The Achieva had a high revving Quad 4 in it and the gearing SUCKS for a V6.
