My childhood in the 90's in Phoenix..... having a goped was like having a Ferarri. I had a kick ass dirtbike but I could not ride it on the street like a goped. 12 year olds could legally ride these things everywhere and you dont have to peddle.

I got to ride one once and it was fun as hell, I already did the streetbike thing and glad I survived. Firing up the Mustang or my 85 to go 3 blocks to the store for something is going to be obsolete because I am buying this thing. It looks fun as hell to ride around.

I'd be so careful with this deal. ONe of those to good to be true. Maybe for a reason ya know.

Yeah, I never got a call back anyways. I most likely would have ended up being robbed.

Avoid it like the plague. Its a damn 305 and it can't be bored out to a 327/350. A larger journal 327 block is a 350 block. SAME / SAME GM even uses the same block cast # for both. 1 and only difference is the crank. Uses the same rods too.
(Oh and pistons would be the same bore but different compression height in the wrist pin).

The one thing that has my attention is "brand new". Most likely its some rebuilt motor they are claiming as "new". My buddy with the desert racing car has an extensive background in motorsports and was telling me about building a 305 into a 345ci with a stroker kit and bore. My buddy said it would run 9k RPM all day long without coming apart.

are you positive? I have been told by a few different eninge machine shops that SOME of the 305 blocks can be bored to a 350. I don't remember what the deal was with them.

That would be news to me. Never heard of it.

I've heard of them being bored/stroked as far as 332 but 350 seems a little far to me.

The last good overbore block I heard of, was the 283, and not all of them. The early ones could be bored a freakin full 1/8 in and put a small journal 327 crank in it, and that's what you got, a 327. Some 5.3 LS block can go out pretty far too but its highly recommended to sonic test them before you do it.
