Really? I could have swore that I read somewhere that the GJ wasn't available with the big block. Thought it didn't make sense though, since you could get the 454 in about any other 2wd.

My buddy just bought a 2002 Sunfire with a friggin miss in the motor for $500. He limped it home. Did a minor tune changing the ignition parts, like plugs, wires etc and its running great now. 2 days later it overheated a bit, he changed the waterpump and Tstat and no more problems. Awesome little $500 car with 98,000 on the clock. He bought it thinking it would need a cam, timing chain or a head gasket. I told him BS, 98,000 miles, I think tune up before anything else unless it had been badly overheated. I'da loved to have had that deal. I need an mpg car. This one was auto trans though and I won't own a 4cyl with an auto trans if I could get away from it.

This truck is broke down in my garage. It's either the fuel pump or the timing belt has stretched stated from a GM certified technician.

If a GM certified tech told you the timing belt has stretched, I want to know where you had taken it because I wi never go there.
