I also had a coffin lid tool box bolted on in front of the bed headboard where the frame rails started to V together to the hitch. It was quite a trailer! :High 5:

Bad Ass, but I like power locks, windows, tilt and cruise at the bare minimum. But, I'd still convert one. I still want a gear shifter truck. Strange I know all I do about Auto's and I prefer to drive manual trans. I had a Muncie M21 in my 64 GMC with a Hurt Competion Plus shifter. Not to toot my own horn, but I was a bad ass shifting Mf'er in that truck !!!

Thye MUST be rare if you don't see mods of them on the trails or magazines. just imagine the possibilities moding a beast like that for off road.

And I gotta have A/C as well.
Me too, but this already said it had AC, so I didn't mention that. I'd have to AC before power windows. Cruise is first and foremost. I gotta have it.

I've been trying to sell my 2 SM465's on craigslist since my trans job. I just got this response and am confused. WTF is this dude talking about.

Do your transmissions take the bell housing mounts or the rear mount?

That shouldn't matter to him, but I know what he is reffering to. Just reply, since mine is 4x4 its bolted up to a NP208 transfer case and the transfer case is mounted to the crossmember. But what will matter to his, is the output shaft and probably why he is asking.
