Looks like it might be 6 lug. Brakes don't appear to be very big, and the wheels are close fitting... and they look a little "fat" too.

Yeah, 6 lugger, gear ratio unknown. If it were an 8 lugger, I'd a bought it just for spare parts and have the 8 lug stuff when I convert.

I was just never really a fan of the 454SS trucks. The only one I have ever liked was a one of a kind FACTORY ORDERED (I have personally seen the build sheet and order sheet and know the salesman) 1991 STEPSIDE in black. The 454SS is on the fender sides. It should have been offered that way.

I was gonna say, I had never seen one in stepside. I was never impressed with them either, but I liked the commercials for them when they first come out. The pick up from hell. Just a bad time to come out with a muscle truck, cuz everything was detuned and a sled back in those days. In comparison to everything else, yeah they were quick, but still not all the quick in reality. Just gas hogs.
