Damn, right there in your own town too. Certainly a few bucks to be made there, even if you just hauled them over the scale. I bet you can sell a few parts real quick first though then scrappem !!! :High 5:
There might be a few parts I try to sell but honestly I think I am just going to take the backhoe over and smash the tops down and load them all up at once. Only thing that worries me is how much the to firebirds will actually weigh with them being stripped.

Some scrap places won't take cars without titles, though, right??

Yea some places want a title, Other places want a title or notarized bill of sale, and others dont give a **** depending on how old it is. Which those 3 are old enough for it not to matter

You might also check condition on the fenders and doors on that truck. If OEM and in good shape you could make some money on those on CL. Can't tell much from the pics, though

Honestly you would be suprised at just how much "extra" income you can make scrapping. Hell my loads are usually average around 700-800 bucks, Not bad for a tank of gas and about 3-4 hours of my time

That definitely is not a bad deal there. Do you have to take your backhoe with ya, though?

Some will, all depends on how crunched up it is. My scrap yard here, if I dont have a title, I can get a notarized bill of sale that works just as good. Or a notarized statement from me stating I am not the registered owner of the vehicle but I purchased the vehicle and have legal ownership. That works when possesion is 9/10ths of the law, and its not reported stolen or missing. Now, if I put my name down as owner and scrap it, then all of a sudden it comes up reported stolen, guess who is going to jail???

Well No pictures for you Retro. Both of the cars are completely gutted, No dash or even interiors, There is an 89 700R4 laying in the floor board though.

The truck has had it cab and front clip are gone, worst part about the truck is it had a DAMB GOOD BED on it, key word there is HAD. This dude works for cocacola and cut the back 2 feet off of the bed to use as a tailgate party display, If the Bed wasnt cut off it would have been pretty easy to sell the bed for 300-400 bucks. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Then I talk to him awhile and he says the Truck isnt even his, He said he let someone park it there and they came and got the trans, and awhile later they came and got the motor. So not knowing who the ACTUAL OWNER of the Truck is I think I am going to have to pass on this deal, that and as gutted as the 2 cars are I really questioning if I can even get enough weight out of them.

Yeah, I'd punt too. Sounds like a lot of work to get it all loaded even to take it to the scrap yard, then with fuel cost, just doesn't sound worth it.
