If not mistaken, all K5s are tailgate. No Barn Doors. Sorry 89S, if you're looking for a K5, you're not get barn doors. Remember the top comes off. I think you can get a mexican K5 w Barn Doors, but no removeable top.

I can't find it in myself to buy a vehicle I can't look at or touch or smell.

Then take a trip and come to OKC or Austin and go shoppin and drive it back home. Much better chance of getting rust free and at a better price in OK or TX.

Not sure, this might just come close to worth that, if its as clean as it appears and really had only 77K miles. I'd feel better at $3500 though. If I had $3500, I'd sure go take a looks and see how bad he needed money.

I am just wondering if a K5 is the right vehicle for 89S. I think he is stuck on Barn Doors. And I think he hauls alot of stuff. And on that paticular K5 that guy is talking to him about, I agree, $1800 is a bit much. $1400 is fair price IMO. So what he spend $400 on exhaust. Big whoop. That doesn't make the vehcile look any better, run any better, ride any better, get better mpg, or last any longer. Sorry, exhaust is not a recoverable expense. Tell me something good, like the Transfer case was rebuilt 6 months ago, or the trans only has 500 miles on it. That's the factors for me. Just like the $500 4x4 I bought. Its got issues and I know it does. Its got issues I haven't even spoke of yet, but they are minor to me, and major to others, but I knew with a crate motor that has well under 10K miles on it, I got my money out of it and then some. So, that's just my analagy and JMO.
