Miniquads rule.

Yep !!! I think my preferance for a K5 is going to be 89-91 for that reason, and I prefer TBI over Carb. Actually prefer SFI Vortec over TBI, but I'd be satisfied and content with TBI for cold weather starts and not running out of gas on sharp leans while out wheeling.

I'm thinking theire prices are cheaper than our Pull A Part. You said this place is 45 minutes from you? Where is it? North of you maybe??? I wonder if next time I go pick up my son in Ft Worth, if I can talk the ho into meeting me closer to that place.

Only if your looking to make a drag car that does 10's or better. Ford Fox body racers even run glides now days. All the drag racers are scooping up all the powerglides they can, so they usually aren't as cheap as you'd expect. I'd expect $100 but no, $250-$300 is about right, and if its been built before and has been beefed up and had a trans break, you're looking at about $1500.

This thing is crazy, I really feel like buying it.

Thats like a dinosaur Gear Bender unit. Way back in the day, is was a bit common guys would take old non sychro 3 speed manuals and make 2 speed overdrives out of them running them backwards. 3rd gear would be a 1 to 1 ratio, then 2nd gear would be our 1st OD and 1st gear was your tallest OD. Strage ****. People had the idea of OD units back in the 50's.
