Looks nice, 91 was the only year for 4l80e
Thanks. Learn something every day on this forum. Does that mean that the 4L80E trans was controlled by the ECM/ECU?

Yes, it was a new ecu for 91 to control 4l80e. It was relatively primitive with control strategy.

If that suburban was closer, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Just found basically my dads old truck for sale. Was his first squarebody before they were squarebodys.
Only diff is this one is a 75 and a Silverado and his was a 74 Cheyenne. Same color, both 454 AC trucks but his was as rusty as this one is now, by like 1980!

It’s for sale locally and cheap. Has a not grungy looking big block in it and paint/interior both look original with no major damage and serviceable.

How people come up with their asking price eludes me as they must be deluded. Asking $19.5k and missing trim? Under hood looks rattle canned and it runs like a bag of ass cold.....but $19.5k..... GTFOH!

Lol. I bet the interior is real nice too....no pics.
Looks like it's a "for sale by owner" Russian or raghead car flipper. A good portion of the fsbo vehicles around here are not actually private owners. Relatively frustrating but generally easy to pick out from the adds once you know what to look for.

On the upside, looks like working AC and a CC truck maybe? If it wasn't painted such schitty colors, it may be worth half that much, assuming no rust and the inevitable...that paint job screams "looks way worse in person."

Is it just me, or does the wheelbase look suspicious on this "lowrider"
