Clean Chevette and you don’t see them any more but “American Classic” is definitely a stretch and is maybe worth $2k and only that much because of how clean it is. My dad had an ‘80 with a stick shift when I was a kid. At that time I thought it was pretty spiffy lol

12k isn't cheap, but neither is the amount of bodywork it would take to get a rougher specimen back into the condition that one appears to be in.

That's no '84 either. Has the bumper, grill and dash of an '82. '84 had the wipers on the turn signal stick.

Imho, it's the rims that make the difference. Back when 15's and 16.5's were common, the Ground Hawgs and Monster Mudders all hung out past the fenders. And it was awesome.
