I agree, there are plenty of 4X4 trucks that look good but never hit the dirt and never need to be put into 4X4. When the question of lifting a two wheel truck comes around the answer is not easy. I would like to know more about how this was fabbed up.

Same here. I've been on the lookout for lifts I could do on the dooley, but I can't seem to find anything for 2wd. Definitely not anything in 10" range (not that I would want it. couple inches would be plenty)

I imagine they used another 2wd frame section and stuck it under the existing frame creating the 10" of lift. Then installed a 4wd crossmember to accomodate the motor mounts. You know that idea came about over a couple beers while looking at some cut up truck frames...

After a closer look that doesn't appear to be correct. I see there is a substantial body lift on it too. There may be 4"-5" of suspension lift.

I dont see a body lift anywhere on it. The wheel wells have been trimmed so the shocks don't hit. Fan shroud appears to be at stock height as well.

Looks like they custom made a drop bracket style lift thats pretty popular on the newer trucks. Amounts to the same actual wheel travel, just everything is pushed down a considerable amount.

I didn't think the cab mount looked correct and the fuel tank seems low to the body.

That is some first class bondo work on the cab extension. I wonder how many buckets they used to cover that?

My question is... why? Why would you extend the cab like a foot? For a little more storage behind the rear seat? Wouldn't a longer bed be more useful?

Has some minor damage from a small accident , still runs fine. Great daily, oil change every 500 miles.

Price is firm. No lowballing, I know what I got.
