And put it on a 1/2 ton frame. They ever make those in 1/2 ton?

No, they didn't start doing that from the factory until 2002 I think (I could be off by a year or so on that). A conversion company (Centurion) created 1/2 ton crew cab short beds for chevy on the later OBS trucks. But nothing from the factory for the squares was a crew cab on a 1/2 ton frame. :( I'm not sure if there were conversion companies doing that back in that 80's or not, though. The only one's I know of created the extended cab squares. Retro probably would know one way or the other....

Quoted for truth! I've only seen that look decent on modded extended cabs. Definitely not that burb, though.

When I used to live upstate PA I saw a local had a extended cab SB, that thing was bad ass, looked damn good for homemade. One thing that pisses me off about GM is they never made EC's while Dodge and Ford were all over it.:flipthebird:

There's a lot of things over the years that GM has missed the boat on or are slow to react on. For instance, all those years the Dakota packed a V8 while the S-10 was toting around lil I4's and V6's when they coulda been offering a 350 version. Now they have the 5.3 available in the Colorado but IMO those are junk! That's just one example but there are many. They have hit the nail on the head on some things but been left behind in others.

Wonder how much they are trying to milk for it.

Not sure considering it's a dealership. If it runs good and is rust free I'd offer 1200 and see what they say. Maybe even less to see what I could get by with :D I'd be their starting price is way over priced, though...

****, good price.

Believe it or not, I think that silver lifted truck is probably worth the $2500. Probably got $1000 in paint alone, then those tires gotta be close to a $1000 for the set. But my question is, how gay do you have to be to lose interest in a truck like that??? :3639243774_5f528137

Yah, I was surprised to see it going for that price, that should go pretty fast.
