Hi folks!

My brake pedal rattles back and forth in the cab when I'm not pressing on it. Seems like a bushing is eroded/gone, but I can't for the life of me find anything about this. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can look for, or what the cure for the problem is?

Thanks in advance!

Theres plastic bushings on the bolt that the pedals pivot on. Also a metal sleeve. Sounds like your bushings are shot, maybe the sleeve is worn too.

It’s the bolt right down through the center. Might be difficult to get at in the truck, and you have to remove the steering column to get the assembly out.

Glad i could help. Any questions, just ask. I just went through the pedal set on the left(it looked worse than the other), so its fresh in my mind. Lol:smokin:

*edit* I havnt tried to source the metal sleeves or the bolt, but I'm sure they're out there. I got the bushings at summit.

I stumbled on some pictures here on the site of someone replacing the bushings. Couldn't figure out how to link to it, but the album was labeled
