Hi Chevy Team, I am looking for someone that knows anything about the Brake arm assembly of a 78 Chevy Truck. I am rebuilding the brakes and am about to re assemble the arm portion that installs in the cab under the dash. I do have questions about what's shown in the pic below. I don't know what attaches the brake plunger vs the brake light switch arm. In this video it shows what I am dealing with but it doesn't show an assembly. I need to know if it uses a bushing, or possibly a special spacer. I've seen other pics but they don't show any detail and I want to assemble this correctly per specs.

Anything anyone could tell me would be a great help!

Not too sure what exactly you’re looking for…

My pedal bracket is from a manual truck converted with an auto brake pedal.

There are some thin nylon bushing inserts the pedal arm rides on, I can’t remember if there’s a sleeve or anything to prevent it from binding. It’s bolted together with a stover lock nut so I tightened it just enough to be snug.

There are other parts that I have that ended up being kinda extra, so I was wondering what else went under there. Ive attached the bracket the presses on the brake light mechanism, but I cant tell what else I would be missing under there.
