The good thing is that by bleeding the brakes you are able to introduce fresh fluid into the system. So I always look at bleeding brakes as a maintenance thing.
Just remember to start with
left rear
right rear
right front
left front
And don't wait for the fluid to stop before closing the bleeder. Close the bleeder while you still have a steady stream then re pump the brakes and continue. Don't allow air to re enter the system. It takes a lot of patience doing it the old way.
